Reality star Khlo Kardashian sets clear boundaries when it comes to her exercise regime to make sure she keeps a healthy balance in her life.

The 31-year-old has become a keen fitness fanatic in the last year, and has also adopted a healthy eating regime.

Khlo has to find the time to maintain her new way of life alongside her hectic work schedule, but in a new Q&A post on her website, she explained how she manages to juggle it all.

“You just have to set boundaries because nobody is going to give you that time,” she wrote. “No one is going to say, ‘Hey you know I think you need to go plays with your kids today’ or, ‘I think you need to go on a date with your husband.’ You need to set those rules and set those boundaries and say this is what I need in my life.”

That doesn’t mean Khlo thinks it’s OK to use other life factors as a reason to skip an exercise session, as she believes a person will always manage to make time for the gym – if it’s what they really want.

“I think with anything you want to do you will make time for it,” she continued. “No matter how many hours you have in the day, no matter how much work you have, you’re going to make time something you really want and choose to do.”

Like any good self-help adviser, Khlo used her own personal experience as an example.

“So trust me I wake up every morning at 4:30 or 5 am to get to the gym,” she added. “Trust me that is not because I like to get up at 4:30 or 5 it’s because I really want to prioritize the gym and that part of my life so I can spend the evenings with my friends.”
